Year 6 Advertising Project

While the Year 7 and 8 students were away in Week 2, the room 6 Year 6 focused on advertising. Their aim was to advertise Tautoro School as the best school in New Zealand. Here is Haihana's and Journey's radio advert.

Week 3 Term 4

It's good to be back in the country. Auckland is great to visit but it is to loud and busy for me.

Today we welcomed a new student into Room 6, Patricia, she is a year 6 from Auckland.. I am looking forward to teacher her and meeting her whanau.

Whanau I have set up a page called Miss Simeon's news, there you will be informed about up and coming events. So if you want to find out about class trips, sport news or group events please go there and read. I will also post up homework information for each day, so that you know what is happening and what you should expect to see when your child(ren) come home.

Auckland Super Trip.

Well tomorrow Tautoro's Year 7 and 8 students are off to Auckland. I have designed a page so that we can write reflections of the trip and download photos of us participating in each activity I have booked you in. The first activity we will experience is skiing at Snow Planet. Then we will be heading off to The Sky Tower to experience the heady heights of the viewing platform. Hopefully all goes well and that our whanau can view from home on what their child is experiencing. See you all at school, tomorrow, hopefully you have packed everything you need.

Successful Gala 2013

Well Term 3 finished with a Twilight Gala.

Each student of Room 6 ran a stall, some were successful and a few were not.
