Tena tatou katoa.
Welcome to Term 2, and our first day we welcomed 6 new students and whaea Rachel Kopa as our teacher aide for student Kaira.

and so our class has a sudden increase of eager minds and bodies ready to learn. So this group are called our Transition Group and are route trained on our class practises and discipline.

We have an amazing term ahead of us, where we have introduced:
  •  The Season of Autumn by
    • changing of clothing
    • leaf rubbing
  • Kapa haka team with Room 5
  • Studying a snippet of Japanese culture through:
    • some simple words and phrase
    • Koi Nobori drawing, colouring and hanging
  • Matariki
    • Manu Aute
    • Food
  • Setting up a Priority Learners group to assist students reach their full potential.
Our class is managed by whaea Shiralee, assisted by Matua Hemara and Mrs Simeon.
