Haere Ra, Mrs Lindsay

Mrs Lindsay,

On behalf of Room 6, we would like to thank you very much for your time you have spent with us.

Thank you for the support and mahi you have done for Tautoro School, over the six years. We will sadly miss you but we congratulate you also on your new journey as the Principal of Paihia School.

I would like to congratulate you on your new mahi at Paihia School.

So once again, thank you very much Mrs Lindsay for being our Principal and not only being Tautoro's Principal but a good teacher too. So for the last time, thank you very much.

Mrs Lindsay,

Throughout all these years of you being our Principal, it has been awesome. You have made lots of changes in our school and brought many opportunities for all the Tautoro tamariki to experience.

Each and everyday you have encouraged us to try our best and that we should always achieve our goals.

Every Monday morning you would spread an inspiring message to all the students, the main message I took in were; to use all the waka values, to have fun and your main motto...
'Whaia te iti kahurangi ki te tuohu koe me he maunga teitei.' This meant to never give up but if you choose to give up, make sure you have given up on something as big as a mountain.

This whakatauki will always inspire the students of this school and it will always encourage us to try our best, especially for our future when our hardest challenges are to come.

We all wish you, Mrs Lindsay, the very best in your new venture at your new school and for your future.

We all hope you keep us in your heart and never forget the special times you have spent with us and we hope you never forget Tautoro School, on of the best schools in New Zealand.
