Our Brave Soldiers

Kia ora Whanau,
This week, Room 6 students are researching information about our brave soldiers who have fought in conflicts through out the world.
We are starting with our brave ANZACs who fought in the Gallipoli campaign in WW1. We will also travel through time and visit websites, readings, audio clips and old videos, that focus on the Maori Battalion in WW2, K-Force in Korea, Vietnam and the Malayan Conflict.
I have set websites on our Room 6 site, this will stop your tamariki from wandering all around the net and gaining nothing in the end.
If you have any information you would like to share with your tamariki, please feel free to pop into our class and share your knowledge.
Through out the week your child will create a presentation around their findings on our brave country men and women who fought, served and some who ultimately sacrificed their lives on the battle fields around the world.
